How do you pursue a Career in Geoscience?

I think Geoscience is a great Career option. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find information about What Geoscience actually is. Most pages on the internet just talk about How to get into Geoscience. It had been a while since I was researching about a Career in Geoscience, when I came across:
